Chattanooga Anniversary Session

As a photographer, there is a lot of pressure to find and define your ideal client. For me, the biggest thing that I look for in potential wedding and anniversary clients is what you see in these images! LOVE. The biggest things that I want to see in my couples is a genuine love and joyfulness about them. If you have that then I want to work with you. When  a  couple is in love it shines through in photos more than the other stuff. It shines through more than the dress or the props or the size of the ring. That love is what will make for a beautiful, timeless and authentic photograph.

That is why these two were such a joy to photograph. They have been married for 20 years and their love is just shines so bright.

Alyssa & Kyle’s Glenview Mansion Anniversary

Where do I even start with these two? Alyssa was our wedding planner, turned  good friend! We have been able to work on a couple of projects together since then and I have gotten to know how talented and sweet this girl is!  Alyssa and Kyle celebrated their second anniversary awhile back and I was so honored to be able to capture it.  The day of this shoot was SO freezing cold and Alyssa was such a champ. She had the details of this shoot planned perfectly, they even brought their two pups along. I just love these two and their love for each other! Take a look at all of the pretty below!

Nick & Amanda Anniversary Session

Nick & Amanda are friends of Bryson and I’s and when they said they were coming back to DC for a weekend I knew we would have to do a photo session! We just love them . We decided to go to Great Seneca State Park during golden hour, it was beautiful! The sunset light was so dreamy. Nick and Amanda have such a sweet relationship, they always seem to be so at ease with each other. There is never a shortage of laughter with these two!
